MEET ROY SCHNEPPER
Roy Schnepper is the Owner and President of Butler’s Collision in Roseville, Michigan. Alongside his father-in-law, Donald Butler, Roy co-founded Butler’s Collision in 1979. Following Don’s retirement in 1995, Roy became the sole owner and has continued to lead the company’s growth and success.
Under Roy’s leadership, Butler’s Collision has expanded from a 4,800-square-foot facility to a state-of-the-art 10,000-square-foot operation recognized for its commitment to quality, safety, and ongoing education. The shop has earned and maintained prestigious industry certifications, including I-CAR Gold Class recognition and manufacturer certifications from leading automotive brands.
A lifelong advocate for professional development, Roy is a graduate of the Automotive Management Institute (AMI), where he achieved the organization’s highest level of certification, earning a Master Degree in Automotive Management.
Roy has also dedicated decades of service to advancing the collision repair industry. His leadership roles have included serving as Chairman of the Board for the Michigan chapter of the Automotive Service Association (ASA), more than 20 years of service at the national level with ASA, membership on ASA’s Collision Operations Committee, and service on the ASA National Board of Directors, including a term as Chairman of the Board. In addition, Roy has served on the Boards of Directors for both I-CAR and the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA).
Beyond the collision repair industry, Roy is deeply committed to his faith and community. He serves as an Elder at his church and enjoys spending time with his wife, Roseanna, their three children, and their nine grandchildren.
